Reviews and Ratings
My stay at Hotel Astor was pleasant overall. The rooms were much as expected, with amenities like TV, Wifi, and a mini-safe, all very clean and well-kept. The service, particularly housekeeping, was satisfactory. The location, although not perfect due to the area being rough at night, was convenient for accessing key sites like Marienplatz and the city center. The dining options were abundant and of good quality, although I didn't get to enjoy them every morning due to early outings. I found the facilities to be nice and suited my needs well.
The hotel is conveniently located near the Hauptbahnhof, resembling an average three-star hotel. While our reserved room wasn’t as expected, it was surprisingly warm. The neighborhood is a bit on the seedy side, offering a lively nightlife scene, but not ideal for families.
Despite the rooms being incredibly hot due to being in a smoking room, the staff's efforts to rectify the issue were appreciated. The location is convenient, close to the city center and public transport, although the area may appear seedy at night. The dining experience was pleasant, with a well-stocked breakfast spread.
The hotel offers clean and basic rooms, ideal for families, and is conveniently located with easy access to the city center. While the surrounding area may have some questionable characters, the proximity to key attractions adds to its appeal. The dining options are varied and plentiful, offering a hearty spread for guests.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was friendly. However, the noise from the street was a downside during the night. The location was convenient, close to the train station, but being in the 'red light district' made it feel a bit unsafe to walk around.
I had a one night stay at this hotel and found the rooms to be very comfortable and well equipped for the price. The space was spacious, but it did tend to get quite hot during my stay. I also had a view into the back courtyard, which added a nice touch to my experience.
