My stay at Hotel Astor was pleasant overall. The rooms were much as expected, with amenities like TV, Wifi, and a mini-safe, all very clean and well-kept. The service, particularly housekeeping, was satisfactory. The location, although not perfect due to the area being rough at night, was convenient for accessing key sites like Marienplatz and the city center. The dining options were abundant and of good quality, although I didn't get to enjoy them every morning due to early outings. I found the facilities to be nice and suited my needs well.
The hotel is conveniently located near the Hauptbahnhof, resembling an average three-star hotel. While our reserved room wasn’t as expected, it was surprisingly warm. The neighborhood is a bit on the seedy side, offering a lively nightlife scene, but not ideal for families.
